Men's Summit · June 27, 2026 · Philadelphia
The Vision
Too many men are walking around carrying weight nobody knows about. Wounds they never named. Pain they never processed. Purpose they never found. Bro You Matter is a men's gathering that says what needs to be said — out loud, in community, with no filters.
This isn't a conference where you sit and listen. It's a morning where you show up as you are and leave knowing something true about yourself and the brothers around you. Growth. Healing. Mental health. Real topics. Real men. Real talk.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Psalm 34:18
Morning Schedule
Doors Open — Breakfast
Come early. Eat together. The table is part of the ministry. A catered breakfast is ready when you walk in. Check in, connect, get comfortable.
BreakfastOpening Session
We open together. No small talk, no warmup. Pastor Shawn sets the foundation for the morning — what we're here for, what's at stake, and who's in the room.
OpeningActivity — Round 1
Not a game. An experience. This activity is designed to move men out of their comfort zone and into honest engagement with themselves and the men around them.
ActivityRoundtable Discussion
Small groups. No scripts. Real conversation about growth, healing, and mental health — facilitated by Bishop Gilbert Coleman and Pastor Warren McKnight. This is where it gets real.
RoundtableActivity — Round 2
The second activity goes deeper. What surfaced in the roundtable gets worked out here. Come ready to be challenged in the best possible way.
ActivityClosing Session
We close with a word, a charge, and a prayer. You don't leave the same as you came in. The morning ends at 12:30. What happens next is up to you.
Closing · ends 12:30 PMWho's In The Room
Pastor Shawn
Host · Opening & Closing
Lead pastor of Capacity Church in Philadelphia. Preacher, theologian, and builder of men. Pastor Shawn has been doing the real work of developing men long enough to know what actually changes them — and what doesn't. He opens the morning and closes it out.
Bishop Gilbert Coleman
Roundtable Facilitator
Bishop Coleman brings decades of pastoral wisdom and authority to the roundtable. He creates the kind of space that makes men feel safe enough to be honest and challenged enough to grow. When he asks a question, men answer truthfully.
Pastor Warren McKnight
Roundtable Facilitator
Pastor Warren McKnight brings a grounded, practical voice to the room. His work at the intersection of faith and mental health gives men language they didn't know they needed. He co-facilitates the roundtable with Bishop Coleman.
